Aftercharge Gameplay is a competitive asymmetric multiplayer shooter that pits invisible robots from a strong security group, together with the robots with stealth and distractions as they try to destroy the luminous extractors the safety team is defending. You may also like Cabal 2
The juxtaposition of melee against ranged attacks echoes Evolve’s take on participation distances. Its emphasis on small team work with sudden bursts of activity mirrors a pacing adoringly lifted from Left 4 Dead’s Versus rhythm. The first vertical piece I played conveyed all of these influences through only a single map and a couple of work-in-progress courses, an impressive beginning to programmer Chainsawesome Games’ contribution to the continuous increase of asymmetrical shooters.
Aftercharge Gameplay offers fast paced and strategic battle as groups of three face off against each other in bite-sized competitive games. 1 group of players manages robots that are capable of melee attacks and invisibility (although assaulting will make them visible), whereas another team consists of a group of strong security guards that have access to a choice of high powered weaponry. There’s a selection of characters to select from, each of which has unique skills that allow them to slot into various roles in the group.
The safety squad is tasked with protecting six luminous structures called extractors in the group of robots that are intent on destroying them — that is easier said than done when your opponent is imperceptible! It is not a walk in the park for the robots though — assaulting will give away their location, so coordination with teammates is vital, working together to create distractions while among your team sneaks in and smashes the extractors.
It is a novel concept for Aftercharge Gameplay, pitting the invincible from the undetectable in fast paced asymmetric multiplayer games, that looks set to provide a fresh and enjoyable take on the strategic team based shooter experience. Aftercharge Gameplay is a three vs. three competitive match pitting invisible robots from a strong security squad in high-octane tactical skirmishes. Six luminous structures called extractor are in the middle of the gameplay and function as the objective for the two teams. The robots need to coordinate their attacks, create distractions and creep around to ruin them. The enforcers, on the other hand, need to cover as much ground as possible and use their skills wisely to identify the attackers and prevent them before they could destroy all of the extractors.
